Product Options Studio License Terms
These Product Options Studio terms supplement the NSPlug License Agreement for Product Options Studio purchased directly from NSPlug or through Adobe Commerce Marketplace. Novel Solutions LLC, operating as NSPlug, is the licensor. Product Options Studio is a one-time purchase. The general agreement’s NS AIChatbot annual subscription, automatic renewal, cancellation, and AI-provider terms do not apply to Product Options Studio. These Product Options Studio terms control if the general agreement conflicts with them. The general agreement continues to govern ownership, restrictions, termination, warranties, liability, and other matters not addressed here. Marketplace transaction terms also apply to purchases made there.
1. Edition, installation, and domain
A valid one-time purchase grants the buyer a nonexclusive, perpetual right to install and use the purchased Product Options Studio edition for its own business on one Magento installation and one canonical production hostname. The Open Source and Adobe Commerce editions have separate entitlements; a key for one edition does not authorize the other. The buyer may modify the delivered source for its internal business use and keep reasonable backup and recovery copies, subject to the general agreement’s restrictions on redistribution and resale.
An authorized contractor may access the software solely to operate or maintain the buyer’s licensed installation, under the buyer’s control and confidentiality obligations. This does not grant the contractor a license for another merchant. A separate staging hostname needs a separate test entitlement arranged with NSPlug case by case. A local credential removal or change of base URL does not release a server-side domain binding. Contact sales@nsplug.com for a verified domain reassignment, such as a store migration; an entitlement cannot be sold or transferred to another business without NSPlug’s written consent.
This PHP module may run on a single merchant’s supported Adobe Commerce cloud infrastructure when that environment is listed as compatible. That use is within the licensed merchant installation; it is not a right to offer the extension as a multitenant service. Adobe Commerce as a Cloud Service is outside this product’s stated compatibility.
2. Included services and optional renewal
The purchase includes standard installation on one compatible merchant installation and one year of Product Options Studio updates and support, starting on the purchase date. Standard installation means initial deployment and activation of the unmodified extension when the merchant supplies compatible access and prerequisites. It excludes custom development, unrelated hosting repairs, data migration, and third-party integration work. Support covers installation and activation questions, reproducible defects in the shipped extension, and its documented configuration; NSPlug will arrange response and resolution according to the issue and available information, without a guaranteed response time.
After the included year, the buyer may purchase another 12 months of NSPlug updates and support for 60% of the purchased edition’s published list price on the original purchase date. At the current $299 Magento Open Source and $499 Adobe Commerce list prices, that is $179.40 and $299.40, respectively. The same original list-price basis applies to each later optional 12-month renewal. Renewal is an affirmative purchase; there is no automatic renewal charge. NSPlug will record the new support end date against the existing license after verifying payment. Marketplace buyers do not need to purchase the extension again or buy a second license from NSPlug.
The installed extension may continue to run on the licensed hostname after updates and support end. An expired support term or temporary NSPlug license-service outage does not disable installed storefront options, cart totals, checkout, or historical orders. Renewal covers NSPlug’s update delivery and support services during the renewed period. Availability of package versions through Adobe Commerce Marketplace is governed by Adobe’s distribution terms; these Product Options Studio terms do not withdraw package access Adobe provides to a one-time buyer. A future Magento or Commerce release is not guaranteed to be compatible.
3. Activation and Marketplace delivery
An administrator activates the extension with a license key and secret token. Activation and scheduled administrative entitlement checks connect by HTTPS to the NSPlug License Server at https://www.nsplug.com. The extension sends the key, token, canonical hostname, stable installation identifier, and edition-specific product code. These license requests do not include catalog, cart, order, customer, or image data. The buyer must protect the key and token and use them only for the purchased edition and authorized installation. See the NSPlug Privacy Policy and the Product Options Studio license-data notice linked from the product listing.
For a Marketplace purchase, NSPlug issues the appropriate edition’s credentials after independently verifying the purchase, recipient, and licensed hostname. Fulfillment and renewal processing are currently handled by NSPlug staff. A Marketplace buyer is not required to make another extension purchase or open a WooCommerce account to receive credentials. Contact sales@nsplug.com if verified credentials have not arrived or a domain reassignment is needed.
4. Refunds and end of use
For a direct NSPlug purchase, the NSPlug Return & Refund Policy applies. For a Marketplace purchase, the applicable Marketplace transaction and refund terms govern the purchase. An approved refund or license termination ends the right to use the refunded or terminated license; the buyer must stop using and remove the extension as the general agreement requires. End of an included or renewed support period alone is not a license termination.
Questions about these terms or the licensed product may be sent to sales@nsplug.com.
