Product Options Studio License Data Notice

This notice supplements the NSPlug Privacy Policy. It describes Product Options Studio licensing only; the website policy covers other NSPlug processing.

Data used for a license

To issue and manage a direct or Adobe Commerce Marketplace license, NSPlug records the purchased edition, purchase or Marketplace reference, verified recipient email, licensed hostname, license key and secret token, entitlement status, and updates/support dates. Marketplace purchase verification and credential delivery are performed by NSPlug staff; Adobe sales and renewals are not imported automatically. A Marketplace buyer does not need a separate NSPlug purchase or WordPress account.

When a Magento administrator activates Product Options Studio or a scheduled administrative check runs, the extension sends the license key, secret token, canonical hostname, stable installation identifier, and edition-specific product code over HTTPS to https://www.nsplug.com. NSPlug uses them to verify the purchased edition and domain, return signed entitlement status, maintain the license, and investigate activation issues. The extension does not include catalog, cart, order, customer, or image data in these requests. Ordinary web-server security and access logs may also record request metadata such as IP address and time.

License records are kept while needed to operate and verify the purchased entitlement and to handle support, accounting, or legal obligations. The current license server does not automatically delete license records on a fixed schedule. Its license-event log setting is currently 90 days, and scheduled pruning removes older events; that setting does not set a retention limit for license records, website logs, or backups. NSPlug limits administrative access to authorized personnel and uses its hosting and email providers to operate the service and deliver credentials. The NSPlug Privacy Policy describes general service providers, security practices, and request rights. Contact NSPlug to request access, correction, or deletion where permitted.

License status is shown to store administrators. An expired support term or temporary license-server outage does not disable the installed storefront, cart, checkout, or historical orders.
